HEI is expecting and appealing for maximum scale value. The HEI claim is also in line with the comment mentioned by the peer team committee members which states, “The institution has provision of 33 percent of its total expenditure for infrastructure development during the last five years”. Thus, with all due regards HEI claims for higher scale value.

But after DVV average of 18.2 recommendation was suggested that downs the scale at level 3. Further after Re-DVV the average value has been reduced to an average of 5 and put the awarded grade to Level 1 grade. Therefore, it is humbly requested to review this matrix and provide appropriate grade.

6.3.2 Percentage of teachers provided with financial support to attend conferences/workshops and towards membership fee of professional bodies during the last five years 12 2 4 Under this criterion during DVV the Percentage of teachers provided with financial support to attend conferences/workshops and towards membership fee of professional bodies during the last five years was 70 (2021-22), 55 (2020-21), 45 (2019-20), 40 (2018-19), 50 (2017-18). But the scores awarded 0 values considered of 2017-18, 2018-19 and 2019-20 for three consecutive years and 76 in (2021-22), 61 in (2020-21). This has reduced the institute grades to scale 2. After peer team visit the appeal by HEI is also justified from the Comments of respected peer review committee which states “The institute has performance appraisal system, effective welfare measures for teaching and non-teaching staff and avenues for career development/progression. 63.73 percentage of teachers have availed financial supports to attend conferences/workshops and towards membership fee of professional bodies during the last five years. 74.33 percent of the teaching and nonteaching staff have participated in Faculty development Programmes (FDP), Management Development Programmes (MDPs) professional development /administrative training programs during the last five years. This crosses the benchmark value and may be rewarded on full scale. Therefore, with all due regards HEI humbly requested to review this matrix and provide appropriate grade.
