ABOUT

In order to meet the wide ranging, challenging and growing demands for professional Managers, in the recent times, from both the developing and the developed Nations, The Department of Management (Masters of Business Administration) was established in the year 2009. Institute is recognized by AICTE- New Delhi & DTE-Govt. of CG and is affiliated to Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU), Bhilai. Intake of the MBA Program is 60 which offer specialization in Marketing Management, Finance Management, Human Resource Management, Systems Management & Production and Operations Management.

The Department constitutes of highly experienced faculty members with varied industrial backgrounds. The Department strives to develop long term relationships with industries and market the Students Talents effectively; the students are thus provided high level leads and career pathways that enable them to gain access to a broad range of high potential MBA career opportunities.

Even though the Department is very young; it has made a name for itself, among the top few colleges, at the university level, through its performance in the examinations and in placement.

The Objective of the Institution is to provide “Management Education” and promote the growth of effective and efficient “Business Managers” through adherence of the highest Standards of Academic Integrity and overall Ethical Conduct, to develop a sense of Individual Responsibility and to collectively participate in reinforcing and maintaining an environment of honor, trust and standards.

SPECIALIZATION

  • Marketing Management :- MBA Marketing Management is a postgraduate Sales and Marketing Management course. Marketing is the process of promoting interest in customers regarding particular goods or services. It is executed through strategies that underlie sales techniques, business communication, and business development.
  • Finance Management :- MBA in Finance Management is a post-graduation program that is concerned with the management of accounts and finances of companies for them to achieve certain financial objectives. The program prepares students with the in-depth knowledge of pricing, asset management, risk management, financial planning etc.
  • Human Resource Management:- MBA in Human Resource Management strengthens the managing skills to best utilize the people and their skills in the business organizations. MBA in HR equips the candidates with the process of hiring, training and managing the work force for the organization.
  • Systems Management :- MBA in System Management is a 2- year postgraduate course which is both technical and managerial in nature, essentially involving information management, and the incorporation of technological elements in business processes.
  • Production and Operations Management:- Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA) is designed for graduate students who are interested in computer applications. This course has been made for students who want to learn computer applications in different fields like banking, insurance, and accounting. This program al lows students to seek professional knowledge in computer applications. This program provides specialisation in computer science with technical, professional and communications skills. It also trains students to become future IT professionals.

  • PO1. Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
  • PO2. Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
  • PO3. Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
  • PO4. Conduct investigations of complex problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.
  • PO5. Modern tool usage: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.
  • PO6. The engineer and society: Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.
  • PO7. Environment and sustainability: Understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.
  • PO8. Ethics: Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the engineering practice.
  • PO9. Individual and team work: Function effectively as an individual, and as a member or leader in diverse teams, and in multidisciplinary settings.
